Issues:

The owners living in house A and studio apartment B, both of which are located in Paris’s 14th. district, had special requirements in their structural modifications. Their objectives were to increase the usable area (by living in mainly open-plan spaces), follow an environmentally-friendly approach (reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions), and make their homes as comfortable as possible by installing efficient, simple-to-use equipment.

ACOME solution:

The Thermacome underfloor heating and cooling solution (installed in house A’s lounge) and Vivracome (the slimmer solution installed on the first floor) met the owners’ requirements exactly. These simple-to-use, regulated hydraulic systems provide the residents with efficient, healthy heating and no wasted energy consumption. Their radiant heat avoids unnecessary energy consumption. The Thermacome and Vivracome solutions, both of which are integrated directly into the floor, also enabled the owners to demolish the partition walls and so lay out their living space more freely.
