ACOME Building solutions

ACOME Building solutions now cover two applications: sanitary water distribution, and heating/cooling. Several solutions are available for each application, depending on the building’s configuration and the energy required.

AQUACOME: a complete sanitary, heating and cooling water distribution system.

ACOME was the first company to produce and use PEXc tubing in France, and it has manufactured a comprehensive range of bare tubing (with and without oxygen barrier layer) and ECOTUBE® and EUROPEX® tubing in corrugated protection pipe there for over 25 years. ACOME PEXc tubing, which is fully opaque, offers enhanced protection against bacterial growth and silting. It offers maximum safety. Although few manufacturers offer this essential technology, ACOME has always done so.

Optimum comfort
Regardless of which range it belongs to, each ACOME solution offers you the following:

• More comfortable heating: the temperature is even in each room in the house. The heat is gentle and uniform, with no cold spots. No motor noise or sound of water flowing through piping.
• Healthier heating: no moving air or blown dust. As the air is not dried, this heating is particularly healthy from a respiratory point of view. No wall-mounted equipment, which can be particularly dangerous for children.
• Visually-attractive heating: being invisible, it provides total creative freedom for laying out the entire area of rooms.

Low running costs
An underfloor heating system enables the room’s temperature to be 2°C lower than with radiator heating while still providing the same feeling of comfort, and so consumes less power. When coupled with a low- or very low temperature heat generator and a suitable temperature regulation unit controlling the entire system, a hydraulic underfloor heating system provides the best available combination of economy and comfort.

The ELEAVIVRE system is fitted with a self-regulating cable that adapts to free external heat contributions. It is an efficient heating system that reduces energy consumption while also respecting the residents’ needs (required ambient temperature).

Easier installation
ACOME provides installers with technical support in installing its solutions: sizing software, layout plans, assistance with first installation projects, technical and practical training, and telephone support.

ACOME hydrocable and underfloor heating systems, which are installed according to standard industry practice and in accordance with the warranty terms, are guaranteed for 10 years.

Reliable systems with CSTB certification

AQUACOME

• The PEXc tubing and crimp fitting systems have received CSTB certification (CSTB Technical Assessment (ATec) no. 14/07-1146),
• The PEXc and PB tubing is inert and so does not degrade the environment after it has been installed.
• The polypropylene outer protective pipe can be recycled.
• Manifolds, ducts and fittings, which are manufactured in light alloy, can be melted down at the end of their life for recycling.

ELEATRAM

The system is certified by CSTB Technical Experimental Assessment (ATEx) no. 14/04-920.

ELEAVIVRE

This system is certified by CSTB Technical Experimental Assessment (ATEx) no. 1387.

THERMACOME

This system is certified by CSTB Technical Assessment (ATec) no. 1386.

VIVRACOME

This system is certified by CSTB Technical Experimental Assessment (ATEx) no. 1386 in France and by DIN in Germany and GOST in Russia.

It uses highly efficient simulation tools to ensure each component is adjusted to meet the system’s requirements as precisely as possible. The system is sized and traced out to propose a customised solution that avoids material wastage.

ACOME products also enable you to optimise your energy consumption.

When used in combination with a condensing boiler, an underfloor heating system allows you to considerably reduce your energy costs. Underfloor heating regulation systems or self-regulating cable systems (found in the ELEAVIVRE electric underfloor heating system) also enable you to avoid wasting energy. An efficient heat generator and efficient temperature regulation are the key factors in ensuring a system’s energy efficiency!
