Applications

The AQUACOME® system is suitable for all types of buildings:

• Residential (collective housing or houses),
• Commercial (offices, factories, etc.),
• Public (schools, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc.),
• Sports complexes (gymnasiums, swimming pools, skating rinks, etc.)

Advantages

In the AQUACOME® hydrocable fluid distribution system, sanitary equipment (shower, washbasins, bath, sinks, washing machine, dishwasher and WCs) and radiators are fed individually from a manifold. The equipment is directly linked to the manifold through small-diameter PEXc tubing (polyethylene that has been cross-linked in a non-chemical, electrophysical process) in a corrugated protection pipe, which is incorporated into the home’s structure.

Increased safety

• ACOME MT tubing and crimp fittings are certified by CSTB Technical Assessment (ATec) no. 14+15/95-398 (CSTBat no. 16-398),
• ECOTUBE® and EUROPEX® tubing is classified under Family C by CSTB Technical Assessment (ATec) no. 14/07-1146 (Tubing and fitting system). Family C provides for more economical and practical laying conditions than those permitted under DTU certification and allows different brands of components to be used in the same network, which Family B does not allow.
  ACOME PEXc tubing, which is fully opaque, offers enhanced protection against bacterial growth and silting. It offers maximum safety. Although few manufacturers offer this essential technology, ACOME has always done so.
• Connection reliability is ensured through the use of power crimpers,
• The tubing, which is laid in corrugated protection pipes, can be changed if necessary without the need for structural work in load-bearing or partition walls, etc.

AQUACOME® hydrocable fluid distribution systems offer the 10-year ACOME warranty covering the tubing and fitting system, subject to the warranty terms and conditions.

AQUACOME® hydrocable fluid distribution system components:

• ECOTUBE® and EUROPEX® bare tubing (with/without oxygen barrier layer) and tubing in corrugated protection pipe, classified under Family C by CSTB Technical Assessment (ATec) no. 14/07-1146 (Tube and fitting system).
  ACOME manufactures and sells PEXc tubing networks, and is the only manufacturer in France to have produced PEXc tubing for this application since 1982.
