ACOME invests a great deal of energy in its employee-partners as well as their environment, in the broad sense of the term. As a result, the company has adopted an OHSAS 18001 health and safety management methodology for some years.

   

The OHSAS 18001 specification

This international specification, which was published in 1999 and revised in 2007, is applicable to all types of organisations. It assesses their occupational health and safety management system.
The OHSAS 18001 specification is intended to help organisations to prevent and control occupational health and safety risks on a daily basis.
ACOME has used this specification as the basis for establishing a management system specifically for each of its sites. Its aim in doing so is to control or eliminate the risks encountered by the employees during production. The system is continuously implemented and improved at each site…
