ACOME has developed a more compact connection drop cable for overhead, underground and façade networks.

The UNB1627 drop is the most efficient optical connection cable on the market for overhead, underground and façade networks.

It is ideal for connecting new or old individual premises.

Strippable technology without splicing :

The cable outer sheath tears easily. Once the cable is installed inside the premises (complies with the Construction Products Regulations (CPR), LSZH-FR material), it allows the deployment of an indoor drop cable over several meters without splicing, improving the optical budget of the FTTH network.

Other advantages : time savings and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

More compact, it is installed more easily :

The cables' outer diameter greatly facilitates the pulling of the cable in the ducts and optimizes the installation time. Once stripped, its smaller diameter makes the cable more discreet.

Robustness, sustainability and performance of the network guaranteed :

The mechanical and environmental performance of this cable meets the requirements of international and European Standards.

This cable can withstand a stress of 80 kg (T max*) for a fiber elongation of only 0.30%, in particular thanks to the presence of two rigid reinforcement members in the outer sheath of the cable.

Thus, despite the climatic hazards, strong winds or snow, the fiber remains protected from constraints and the sustainability of the network is ensured.

Improved carbon footprint :

Smaller, this cable uses less carbonaceous material. Made 100% in Europe, the logistics chain is optimized and its carbon footprint reduced.
